Progress begins when we start breaking down barriers.

During the 2026 Falling Walls Lab, organized by DAAD Ghana and DAAD, WAH Insecticide had the opportunity to present its innovative approach to sustainable pest management.

One statement from Her Excellency Mrs. Sivine Jansen particularly stood out:

Progress begins when individuals start to break down barriers—barriers between disciplines, barriers between countries, barriers between problems and solutions, and sometimes barriers in our own minds

This message strongly reflects the vision behind WAH Insecticide.

Breaking the Wall of Insect Pest Attacks

Farmers continue to face serious challenges from insect pests that damage crops, reduce productivity, and threaten food security. At the same time, there is a growing need to explore more sustainable approaches to pest management.

WAH Insecticide seeks to be part of that solution by promoting organic and environmentally responsible pest-control practices.

Our participation at Falling Walls Lab 2026 provided an opportunity to share this vision, connect innovation with agriculture, and demonstrate how research-driven solutions can address real challenges facing farmers.

From Research to Innovation

WAH Insecticide represents an effort to bridge the gap between research, innovation, and practical agricultural application.

The goal is not simply to control insects, but to encourage a more balanced approach to crop protection—one that considers farmers, consumers, beneficial organisms, and the environment.

Our Vision

Break the wall of insect pest attacks.
Break the wall between research and farmers.
Break the wall between agricultural challenges and sustainable solutions.

Through innovation and collaboration, WAH Insecticide aims to contribute to a future where farmers have access to more sustainable options for protecting their crops.

Thank You to Falling Walls Lab

We are grateful to Falling Walls Lab, DAAD Ghana, and DAAD for creating a platform where innovators, researchers, and problem-solvers can share ideas capable of creating meaningful change.
