Free Demonstration of WAH Insecticide Brings Hope to Farmers in Nyankpala

In our continuous mission to promote safe and sustainable farming practices, the WAH Insecticide team conducted a free spraying exercise for two farmers in Nyankpala, located in the Tolon district of the Tamale Northern Region of Ghana. The exercise was aimed at addressing severe pest infestation on maize and vegetable farms while demonstrating the benefits of organic pest control.

The Challenge: Pest Infestation and Food Insecurity

Before the spraying demonstration, the two farmers inspected their infested crops, which showed severe pest damage threatening both yield and food security. We advised the farmers against using chemical insecticides, highlighting the dangers of toxic residues in crops and the long-term harm to the environment.

The WAH Insecticide Demonstration

Our team then carried out a step-by-step demonstration on how to:

  • Measure the correct dosage of WAH Insecticide.
  • Mix and spray the solution effectively on the affected crops.
  • Monitor and assess the progress after spraying.

The results were massively encouraging, giving the farmers renewed confidence in organic solutions.

Educating Farmers on Organic Benefits

Beyond the spraying exercise, we took the opportunity to educate the farmers on:

  • The importance of organic farming for sustainable food production.
  • How organic practices protect the environment and preserve soil fertility.
  • The health benefits of consuming crops grown without toxic chemical residues.
